What Is Casino Hold’em?
Casino Hold’Em is a fun, fast-paced poker game that can be played in a live casino or in brick-and-mortar casinos. The main difference between Casino Hold’Em and other poker games is that in Casino Hold’Em you only play against the dealer, whereas in other games you play against other players too.
This makes Casino Hold’Em a great option for newcomers to online poker, but it is also popular with more experienced players too.
The aim of the game is to beat the dealer’s hand by getting the best-possible five-card hand – made up of the two cards dealt to the player and the five community cards, which can be used by both the player and the dealer.
Rules of Casino Hold’em and How to Play
Casino Hold’em is a simple game to play. It is played with a standard 52-card deck, and at the start of the game you’ll need to place an ante bet. Ante bets are usually smaller than standard bets, and are used to build up the initial prize money.
There’s also an option to place an AA Bonus bet, where you can bet on whether the first five cards dealt (your two cards plus the first three flop cards) will include a pair of Aces or better.
Next the dealer will deal two cards for you, and two for themselves. These are called ‘hole cards.’ While your cards will be dealt to you face-up on the table, the dealer’s cards will be face-down.
After that, three community cards are dealt face-up on the table. They are called ‘community cards’ because the player and the dealer can use them in their hand.
Then you’ll need to decide whether to play or fold. If you fold, you give up your cards and the ante bet. If you play, you will have to place a bet. You can make this decision based on the strength of your hand of cards.
If you choose to bet, the dealer will deal two more community cards before turning over their own cards, and you will find out whether you have won or lost.

Betting in Casino Hold’em
There are three types of bet in Casino Hold’em, which can be won under certain conditions. Here’s a quick introduction to each bet type:
Ante Bet
This bet is usually smaller than standard bets, and it is placed at the beginning of the game before any cards are dealt. You will win the ante bet if your hand beats the dealer’s hand, and the payouts vary depending on where your hand ranks. For example, Straight or lower pays out 1:1, while a Royal Flush pays out 100:1.
Raise Bet
In order for you to win a Casino Hold’em game, the dealer must have a decent hand that qualifies – in other words, they must have a Pair of Fours or better. If your hand beats the dealer’s but theirs doesn’t qualify, you will get your wager back but you won’t win any additional money.
AA Bonus Bet
The AA Bonus Bet is an optional bet that is not related to your hand beating the dealer’s, or the dealer qualifying. It only considers your hand when the first three community cards are dealt. If your hand is a Pair of Aces or better during this stage, you win the AA bet.
