Lord Ping Examines the Features of Super Stake Blackjack

Features of Super Stake Blackjack banner

Stakelogic is the creator of Super Stake Blackjack. Played using American Blackjack rules and with four side bets, Super Stake Blackjack uses eight decks of 52 playing cards each and a manual dealing shoe is used in the game.

A large chunk of the decisions usually seen in Blackjack (such as hitting or standing) are taken away from players in this game and are decided by the optimal blackjack strategy. Players only have control over the Split, No Split, and Double or No Double options. Even with the best strategy, though, the RTP is only 98.01%, which is less than traditional blackjack. This is a result of the Super Stake Multipliers' required 50% cost.

It seems there’s plenty to unpack with this unique live casino game, so keep on reading to learn Lord Pings' thoughts on what Stakelogic is bringing to the table with their Super Stake Blackjack game. For a how-to-play guide be sure to explore the Super Stake Blackjack game page.

Super Stake Blackjack Live Gameplay: Fusing American Blackjack With Additional Side Bets

Super Stake Blackjack has the same rules as standard American Blackjack with the additional possibility of multiplier payments for hands with golden cards. The one-player hand in the game can be played by an infinite number of players due to the scalable table.

Since the player's hand is subject to the Basic strategy of blackjack, the playing interface makes all of the playing decisions for them. The player has some sense of decision-making when it comes to particular playing situations, such as splitting and doubling, but that's about it. A lot of diehard blackjack fans might take umbrage to these limitations, but it certainly makes the game accessible to new players and could be particularly convenient for mobile games.

There is also a mandatory 50% Super Stake applied to your total wager to fund the Golden Cards feature, which we will cover later in this review. This additional wagering requirement makes Super Stake Blackjack more expensive than other live blackjack games, which slightly defeats the purpose of its automation is to help new players get involved.

Exploring the Super Stake Blackjack Live Features

The Super Stake Blackjack game is streamed in HD quality from a purpose-built studio. The studio set-up isn’t as flashy as some, and instead looks like an authentic blackjack table with the camera (aka the player) positioned facing the dealer.

As mentioned a 50% Super Stake is required of all players to fund the Golden Cards bonus feature. Six multipliers are introduced by the Super Stake in the shape of Golden Cards during each round. A multiplier value of x2, x3, x4, x5, x6, x8, x10, x12, x15, or x30 is assigned to each card. The screen behind the dealer shows six Golden Cards at random when wagers are closed. The player's initial wager will be doubled by the value indicated on both cards if their card matches one or two of the Golden Cards and they win their hand.

There are also four side bets included in gameplay, which are as follows:

  • Golden Pairs: Depending on the suit and colour of the pair, the player wins 25:1, 12:1, or 6:1 if the first two player cards are a pair combination.

  • Depending on the result of the three-card poker game, the player wins 100:1, 40:1, 30:1, 10:1, or 5:1. This is because the three cards—the player's first two and the dealer's first—can form any one of five possible combinations.

  • Golden 3: In this variant, the player wins 270:1, 180:1, or 90:1 if the first three cards create a three-card poker hand. The alternatives are similar to the previous variation, except they are less.

  • Buzz-T: Depending on how many cards the dealer has dealt himself, the player wins 250:1, 100:1, 50:1, 9:1, 2:1, or 1:1 if the dealer busts.

How do the Super Stake Blackjack Live Payouts Shape Up?

While the payouts awarded by the side bets mentioned above are respectable, when it comes to standard payouts the Super Stake Blackjack game falls short. While the regular payouts of 2:1 for insurance and 3:2 for blackjack will be increased by the multiplier, ordinary winning hands only pay 0.5:1 due to the mandated fee, thus players will not receive their entire bet back.
