The Golden Shield is your best defence when you are playing the Astronaut slot game. Landing this will activate the Shield Defence which will spin the reel automatically until a Red Crystal lands. Any Green Crystals will be passed by and increase the win multiplier for your original stake. 

Be wary of the Red Crystal when you do not have an active Golden Shield. Landing this will cause you to lose your bet and any possible winnings. However, with an active Golden Shield, you are saved from whatever effects the Red Crystal would have on your stake and winnings. Landing a Red Crystal with an active shield will give you the choice to either Continue, Take Half, or Collect from the level. The prize values will also increase.
