The Blood & Shadow slot is initially played with 5 reels, 4 rows and 1,024 ways to win. Winning combinations are simply created by landing 3, 4 or 5 matching symbols anywhere across successive reels, beginning from the leftmost reel. There’s up to 3,125 ways to win as you’ll discover later on. You’ll also see a Ritual Bar below the reels which we go into more detail below.

On the reels, you have low value icons for the below symbols (raven, snake, ram, wolf and the triple goddess). Then you have ravens, snakes, rams, wolves and an old woman (who looks like a skeleton). These are medium value symbols. Highest paying is the old woman symbol who is awarded 0.5, 1 or 1.5 x bet for 3, 4 or 5 across a payline.

You can find the Ritual Bar below the board. It progresses with a winning combination of medium and high-value symbols for 1 and 2 points. Heart grants 10 points for Ritual Bar. Meanwhile, there are 5 levels that require 20, 30, 40, 60, and 80 points.

Whenever reaching a new level, the low-paying symbol stops dropping on the reels while the medium-value one becomes of high value.
